miOhm is a product of Adiuvisti, a company registered in England and Wales. miOhm is a software service that helps small and medium-sized businesses track their energy consumption and carbon emissions. References to "miOhm", "we", "us", or "our" in this policy refer to Adiuvisti, the operator of miohm.com.
We collect the following categories of data: account information (email address and password), business information provided during onboarding (business name, industry, address, postcode), electricity consumption data retrieved from your smart meter or uploaded by you (half-hourly kWh readings, MPAN), and usage data about how you interact with the miOhm dashboard.
We use your data to provide the miOhm service — specifically to calculate your carbon emissions, generate reports, send alerts, and manage your subscription. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your energy data for advertising purposes.
Your data is stored in the European Union using Supabase infrastructure. We use row-level security to ensure each user can only access their own data. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. API keys you provide for third-party integrations (such as Octopus Energy) are stored encrypted.
miOhm uses the following third-party services: Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payment processing), Resend (transactional email), and Vercel (hosting). Each operates under their own privacy policy and data processing terms.
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access the data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your account and associated data, and object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@miohm.com.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, with the exception of data we are required to retain for legal or financial compliance purposes.
miOhm uses session cookies for authentication purposes only. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
