1. Who We Are

miOhm is a commercial software product owned and operated by Adiuvisti Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. miOhm provides calculation software designed to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) convert energy consumption profiles into verifiable carbon reports. References to “miOhm”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refer directly to Adiuvisti.

2. Data We Collect and Process

To provide accurate carbon metrics, we handle information across the following categories:

  • Account Credentials: Email address and encrypted passwords for authentication.
  • Corporate Demographics: Registered business name, industry classification, and geographic postcodes.
  • Meter Identification: Core Meter Point Administration Numbers (MPAN) or serial configurations.
  • Granular Consumption Data: Automated half-hourly electricity readings (kWh) obtained directly via authorized utility APIs or manual user CSV imports.

3. How Your Data is Utilized

Your metrics are used explicitly to compute greenhouse gas emissions (utilizing standard DEFRA carbon factors), visualize cost trajectories, generate auditable exports, and maintain subscription functionality. We do not sell corporate or energy metrics to third-party brokers, nor do we profile your consumption for advertising purposes.

4. Data Architecture and Security

We implement industry-standard infrastructure safeguards to keep your operational data secure:

  • All database operations are localized inside the European Union (EU) via Supabase infrastructure frameworks.
  • Isolation is strictly enforced at the database level using Row-Level Security (RLS), preventing cross-tenant access.
  • Third-party authentication credentials (such as Octopus Energy API tokens) are securely stored using AES-256 encryption at rest.

5. Sub-processors and Third-Party Services

To maintain platform uptime and processing capabilities, we securely coordinate with select services:

SupabaseDatabase storage and Identity AuthUser accounts, MPAN identifiers, raw consumption logs

6. Your Rights Under UK GDPR

As a UK entity, you maintain complete statutory rights over your information frameworks. This includes the unconditional right to audit or access data files we preserve, execute instant corrections on invalid metadata, or request complete termination and deletion of your profiles. All compliance actions can be triggered by contacting us directly at hello@miohm.co.uk.

7. Retention Schedules

Data structures are maintained actively as long as your workspace account remains open. Upon choosing to delete an account profile, information logs are systematically expunged or anonymized within 30 days, except where financial recordkeeping regulations compel longer preservation lifespans.

8. Cookie Classification

miOhm intentionally utilizes Strictly Necessary Session Cookies to handle encrypted account access states securely. We do not integrate behavior tracking frameworks, pixel analytics, or cross-site marketing cookies.

9. Data Protection Contact
